Day 264 - Nichole Phillips

Today's beautiful person is one who I have only come in contact with a few times but who has touched me such that I had to honor her on her birthday.  She was actually one of the people I had in mind when I started doing this whole Beautiful People thing.
I met her at STVU, although apparently she attended my other alma mater as well (UVA).  She is one of the most intelligent people I have ever met.  She also has a deep well of wisdom and spiritual wealth from her life experience that she draws upon to encourage others as they traverse the Process of STVU and of life. 
But what spoke to me the most about her each time we interacted was her warmth and her sweetness of spirit.  Have you ever met someone whose presence is like a warm summer day?  That is her.  She just has this warm, calm to her that has a way of helping me to relax and smile despite whatever else I'm dealing with in the moment.  For me, that is what beauty is all about - having such a wonderful inner radiance that it can be felt by others just because they are in your presence.  She has also shown herself to be caring and to be concerned for others. 
Nichole, thank you for being a strong, beautiful woman of God.  Happy birthday, and thank you for being you.
