Day 265 - Fortunate

I've always thought that this is a beautiful song.  I heard it on Pandora, and I had to write about.  I'm truly fortunate to have awesome love in my life from the beautiful people God has given me, and I pray that each of you reading this feels the same way.
"Never seen a sun shine like this. Never seen the moon glow like this.  Never seen the waterfalls like this.  Never seen the lights off like this.  Never dug anyone like this.  Never had tasty lips to kiss.  Never had someone to miss. Never wrote a song quite like this."  When love abounds in life, things just look different.  Life is just more beautiful, because love brings out the positive. It makes you feel lighter and stronger and better able to recognize beauty in things/people.  The singer is experiencing a love like never before that allows him to see things in such a way.  He's never had such a relationship that makes him feel the way this one does, and he appreciates the physical (kiss), the emotional (missing them), and the spiritual (inspiration to write a new kind of song) newness that it brings to his life.
"Fortunate to have you, girl.  I'm so glad you're in my world.  Just as sure as the sky is blue, I bless the day that I found you."  The chorus is simple.  The singer say that he feels fortunate (blessed, happy) to have this girl in his life, and he is glad that she is a part of his reality.  The daily blue sky is a reminder to him that the day he met her was a blessed occasion indeed, because it was a day that brought her amazing presence into his life and has changed his reality ever since.
"Never had room service all night.  Never took a trip first class flight.  Never had a love affair so tight.  I've never felt a feeling so right.  Never seen a winter so white.  Never had words to recite.  Never had a flame to ignite, and I never sang a song with all my might."  It appears that they are spending time together on a trip, and as they travel, he reflects on how this experience is different with love.  And it just feels right....  He feels deeply moved and inspired by this love in that it gives him passion to sing and love and write and recite and be.
"Silent shouts I hope you hear - I'm callin out to your body.  Baby, you know just what to do - close the door, no interlude."  He feels this thing so deeply that his inner being is calling out to her.  They are connected and she knows him intimately enough to know what to do to make things wonderful for both of them.  So he is requesting that they commence with spending quality time together alone...
