Day 150 - Can't Take My Eyes Off You

This is one of my all-time favorite songs.  It's a beautifully sweet song, and I just enjoy the love.
"You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off of you.  You'd be like heaven to touch.  I wanna hold you so much.  At long last love has arrived, and I thank God I'm alive.  You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off of you."  I mean, what can you say to that?  Not only are they beautiful, but I am drawn to embrace and grateful for their presence.  At long last, love has arrived.  Because of the more open mindset, I don't just see this as a romantic situation.  It really can just be about a friend who is a beautiful being to me and who has brought a love into my life that I've never experienced before.
"Pardon the way that I stare.  There's nothing else to compare.  The sight of you leaves me weak.  There are no words left to speak.  But if you feel like I feel, please let me know that it's real.  You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off of you."  This verse is interesting to me, because it tells me that the person may not necessarily be in relationship with the one for whom they sing the song.  There seems to be admiration from a distance, but the line "but if you feel like I feel, please let me know that it's real" would suggest that they are either strangers or friends and she wishes to take it to the next level.  Either way, I must admit that take slight issue with the line "the sight of you leaves me weak."  Admittedly, that may be my issues with vulnerability speaking, but I think it reflects a bit of infatuation as opposed to the strength that real love tends to give, enough in looking at someone who touches the very heart and soul of our being.
"I need you baby, and if it's quite all right, I need you, baby, to you warm the lonely nights.  I love you, baby.  Trust in me when I say okay.  O pretty baby, don't let me down I pray.  O pretty baby, now that I found you, stay, and let me love you."  So, she is reaching out.  It seems as if there is some type of relationship established, and she desires to take things deeper.  She is setting the course for the relationship - don't let me down, I pray  - and she is asking her love to trust her and be open to the love that she has to offer.
